Westfall HS is joining forces with the Pickaway County Sheriff's Department, SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and the other county high schools to pilot a program focusing on teenage traffic safety.  When I asked for a parent volunteer to join us, the response was really wonderful!  Students were surveyed about their experiences with unsafe driving behaviors, as well as their exposure to alcohol and other drugs.  The results should be back from SADD in March.  Stay tuned.

No snow on the ground - might we get away with a mild winter?  Probably jinxed us.  Can't believe semester's end is upon us.  Some winter sports seasons half over; baseball, softball and track will be here b4 you know it.

Very proud to report that the folks at the Wex Center were extremely complimentary of our students who attended the exhibition yesterday.  Thank you to the Westfall Education Foundation for helping to finance the trip.

As the semester draws to a close students should consider taking advantage of the tutoring offered every Wednesday morning by every teacher in the high school.  See you there!

Visited today with our students at Pickaway-Ross Career Tech Center.  What a great place.  I wish more Westfall students took advantage of the opportunities provided there.

Weird day today - full moon tonight.  The longer I'm in the business of school, the more I believe in the "full moon" theory.

Great night at Pickaway-Ross CTC last night.  Westfall athletes took home lots of hardware.

The fundraiser for the Browning Family was a huge success.  We raised almost $400.  Way to go Westfall!
