Westfall Elementary Mustangs Student-Run Credit Union Members reached their annual goal of 500 deposits this school year! As a special treat for meeting the goal, four randomly selected members were chosen to enter the "Cash Reactor!"

The Cash Reactor works like a Game Show Money Booth. The four members have a 30-second round to enter the Reactor and catch as much flying cash as possible! Whatever "cash" (ACU uses green paper "dollars" in the machine for safety purposes) the member catches will be generously donated to their account.
Congratulations to Ellie Osborn (1st grade), Cooper Dutcher (2nd grade), Kate Cantor (3rd grade), and Dax Davey (4th grade)! Their winnings spanned from $41-58!

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our student tellers for all their hard work in helping reach this goal this year, as well as a special thanks to Director of Financial Education Andy Eisnaugle and Student-Run Manager Jordan Stepp from ACU for visiting us yesterday!

Atomic Credit Union is always finding fun and inventive ways to reward our students' positive money habits. To learn more about starting an account for your student, please follow this link: https://rb.gy/76maky.

This morning, Westfall Elementary celebrated a special milestone: Our 5th-grade students were officially promoted to middle school during a promotion ceremony. Students performed "This is Me" by Pasek & Paul from the movie, "The Greatest Showman," and listened to inspiring excerpts from Kobi Yamada's "Why Not?"

Each student received a yard sign and combination lock, generously provided by the Westfall CIA, to help them prepare for their new lockers this fall.

Congratulations to the class of 2033—we are so proud of you!

Our 5th graders got a sneak peek at middle school life! To prepare for 6th grade this fall, they did a mock run of a typical school day. Students practiced switching classes, finding their new lockers, and mastering combination locks. They are officially ready for the fall!

Mrs. Wippel’s second-grade students have been busy with Module 2 of Wit & Wisdom! They explored titles such as "The Buffalo Are Back," "John Henry," and "The Story of Johnny Appleseed."

They held a classroom celebration to share their reading and writing achievements with families and visitors. The creativity on display was a true reflection of all their hard work!

History and pop culture came to life in third grade! Our students dressed up as both historical figures and modern-day icons—from Eleanor Roosevelt to Elly De La Cruz—to present everything they’ve learned for our “Living Wax Museum.” They impressed their guests with their hard work, research, and planning.

Earlier this week, DARE Officer Deputy Freeman hosted DARE in the DOME. Tiffany Singer, Public Information Officer, and Isabella Watkins, Public Health Educator, from Pickaway County Public Health, were on site to provide an enhancement lesson on the physical and mental toll developing student bodies are exposed to when consuming alcohol, tobacco, or vaping products. They used models of the human lung and mouth to explain health effects and substance use disorders.

After the lesson, Pickaway County Public Health provided six pairs of visual impairment goggles, which DARE graduates used while trying to push friends on scooters through an obstacle course, playing kickball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. Students observed how simple childhood play becomes severely difficult when their senses are altered.

Thank you, Deputy Freeman, Tiffany Singer, Isabella Watkins, and the entire Pickaway County Public Health team for putting on such an impactful, hands-on event for our students. We truly appreciate your dedication to keeping our students informed and safe.
