The Westfall eSports Chess and Fortnite Teams have both made the ESO-OHSAA State Finals for the third year in a row.
Chess finished 2nd in the State and will face off next Tuesday against 3rd-ranked Barberton in the semi-final round. With a win, the team will compete in the State Championship on Tuesday, March 12th.
Fortnite will compete on Saturday, March 16th, in Athens, Ohio, at Scripps Hall on the Ohio University campus starting at 7:30 AM.

On Tuesday, February 27, Westfall BPA traveled to the Mid-Ohio Market and helped receive a food delivery and stock the shelves at the market. BPA members did a fantastic job getting the shelves stocked and ready to go. It was a fun experience and a great opportunity for service!

With Pickaway County currently under a Tornado Warning, Westfall Local Schools will be operating on a 2-hour delay today, Wednesday, February 28, 2024. There will be NO AM Preschool.


WHS Band enjoyed a visit from a guest consultant, the highly experienced and talented Brian Stevens. Mr. Stevens has an impressive background in music education and was able to offer beneficial suggestions on how to improve our overall sound. Thank you, Mr. Stevens, for your wonderful guidance!






During the months of April and May, Westfall High School will be administering Ohio's State Tests and Final Exams. Ohio State Tests are a graduation requirement.
All High School (HS) test takers, both In-Person and Online, including those re-testing in a specific area, should arrive at school at their regular time and report to their assigned location by 7:30 AM.
Non-test takers need to arrive two hours after their regular time and then report to 1st period at 9:30 AM. Those HS non-test-taking students who absolutely cannot arrange alternate transportation must report to the auditorium upon regular arrival by 7:30 AM.
Students will not be permitted to be in the hallways during testing. Mrs. Brown is emailing HS students each week regarding their testing locations.

- Wednesday, April 3rd, 11:15 am-12:45 pm
- Friday, April 5th, 3:00-5:00 pm

The Chess Team finished the regular season 6-1, defeating Franklin High School yesterday 5-0. Ryan Haney led with two big wins to help the team clinch the top spot in the division. The team is ranked 2nd in the eSports Ohio-OHSAA league and will move on to the state tournament.
