Westfall BPA advances to Nationals! The Small Business Management team spent weeks strategizing and laying out plans of helping a hypothetical business through a scenario. Seniors David Medford and Jack Latham, along with junior Olivia Barnes, spent an incredible amount of time meticulously putting together a presentation to help the hypothetical business owner. They presented virtually at regionals and continued making changes for the state competition. Recently, they received news that they placed second in Ohio, advancing them to the national competition.
Senior Lyndsey Daum placed third in the Personal Financial Management tested event and also qualified for nationals. The test had questions about finance-related topics, including credit, investing, insurance, and more. There are around 45-60 questions that have to be answered within an hour.
The national conference will be held virtually this year.
Congratulations Marcus!
Just a reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL Thursday, April 1 - Monday, April 5 for Spring Break! Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
