Congratulations Carmen!

Mrs. Treece's senior English classes just finished reading The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, which takes place during the Victorian Era. Some scenes are centered around tea time and mention items that the characters enjoy eating, such as cucumber sandwiches and muffins.
To celebrate finishing the last long piece of literature, Mrs. Treece hosts a tea party for her students, her favorite event of the year! Students are encouraged to use good manners as they enjoy treats together, along with classical music and polite conversation.

Congratulations Kendra!

Congratulations to Jillian Reedy, Leah Ragland, Lyndsey Yates, and Jessica Teal! They are the 2020-2021 University of Cincinnati State Stock Market Game Winners! Our Mustang investors placed 1st out of 130 teams from across the state.
The game involves students learning financial investing terminology and applying it in a stock market investing game. Each team starts with $100,000 of mock money, which can be invested in stocks, bonds, or mutual funds. This team's investment portfolio rose $58,963 from September 1, 2020, to April 9, 2021.
This is the 6th time in the last seven years that a Westfall team has won this competition!

Westfall NHS is hosting the 3rd annual Blood Battle against Circleville Key Club on April 30! Westfall is trying to collect more units of blood than CHS to remain the champion and keep the trophy at WHS! Sign up at: redcrossblood.org/give and search for WestfallHS.
