The Westfall Local School District Calendar for the 2025-2026 school year was recently approved by the Board of Education on January 13, 2025. This calendar can also be found on our district website under Explore > Calendars.
Our Pop Tab Drive is going strong, and there’s still time to donate! Keep saving your pop tabs and send them in with your student by February 3! Donation containers are conveniently located near the front office. Together, we can make a difference, one tab at a time!

Westfall Local Schools is sponsoring a districtwide Hat Day on Friday, January 17. Students can bring in $1 to wear a hat to school!
In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there will be NO SCHOOL for students and staff on Monday, January 20, 2025. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
Middle School Athletics This Week

In an abundance of caution due to frigid temperatures in the forecast for tomorrow morning and the ongoing conditions of secondary roads, Westfall Local Schools will be operating on a two-hour delay on Friday, January 10, 2025. Bundle up, drive carefully, and stay safe, Mustangs!
Due to the ongoing treatment of side roads in areas of our district, Westfall Local Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay ,Thursday, January 9, 2025. There will be NO AM Preschool. This delay allows for buses to run during daylight hours for improved safety. Please bundle up, drive carefully, and stay safe on the roads.
Tomorrow's (1/9) middle school basketball games with Huntington have been cancelled. Make up date is TBD.
Before heading off for Christmas break, our middle school students enjoyed a PBIS Reward Day packed with fun and excitement! The kids had a blast, from jumping on inflatables and playing games to watching movies and eating popcorn. It was the perfect way to celebrate their hard work and positive behavior this semester! Great job, Mustangs—we’re so proud of you!
To ensure the safety of our students, student drivers, staff, and families and to allow for additional cleanup on many of our district roads, Westfall Local Schools will be CLOSED on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
Due to the current weather conditions, Westfall Local Schools will be CLOSED on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
ALL STUDENTS and families interested in taking CCP classes for the 2025-2026 school year are REQUIRED to attend the CCP Information Night on January 22, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the High School Auditorium. This meeting is also required for students who are already participating in CCP.

Students will be released at the following times:
High School: 12:30 PM
Middle School: 12:30 PM
Elementary School: 1:30 PM
Classes will not be in session for students from December 23 through January 6 to celebrate the holidays. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Our 6th graders had a blast at the bowling alley today, enjoying unlimited pizza, drinks, and bowling – all thanks to the generous support of the Westfall Education Foundation.
As part of a behavior incentive, students were challenged to keep it under 5 strikes, and guess what? 95% of them met the goal! Way to go, Mustangs!
