
With Pickaway County under a Level 2 Snow Emergency, Westfall Local Schools will be CLOSED tomorrow, Tuesday, January 18.


Today, we honor the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Classes resume Tuesday, January 18, 2022.


Due to a recent increase in active COVID cases within the district, Westfall Local Schools will be closed Friday, January 14, to allow students and staff an extra day to recuperate over a four-day weekend. Tomorrow's Boys Basketball game vs. Piketon is still as scheduled.

The Westfall Local Schools Board of Education voted to hire Logan Stepp as the new head football coach for the Mustangs.


Any middle school students and families that are interested in taking College Credit Plus classes for the 2022-2023 school year are REQUIRED to attend the CCP Information Night on January 25 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the High School Auditorium. This meeting is also required for students who are already participating in CCP.

FIRST SEMESTER REPORT CARDS
Paper copies of report cards were sent home with students today!
They will also available to view through ProgressBook on Monday, January 10.


Westfall Local Schools will be operating on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Friday, January 7. There will be NO AM Preschool. We will continue to monitor the weather conditions overnight and keep you informed if there are any further schedule changes.

Congratulations to Westfall Middle School's 7th-grade Social Studies Teacher, Edward Brown, for being recognized by the Ohio Art Education Association with the Distinguished Educator for Art Education Award! Mr. Brown uses the arts in his classroom to connect with his 7th-grade students and encourage them in all aspects of their education. At the December Board Meeting, WMS Art Teacher Kathy Fuller presented the award, who nominated Brown for the honor.

REMINDER: Westfall Local Schools will have a 2-hour early dismissal for students today to kick-off winter break! Classes will resume for students on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Staff will return on Monday, January 3 for professional development.

REMINDER: If you have purchased a pie from the 8th-grade DC trip Fundraiser, your pie(s) are available to pick up TODAY between the hours of 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM at the Middle School.
