Teachers inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. In the past year, they persevered despite the challenges thrown their way amid the COVID-19 pandemic. While thanking teachers should not be a once-a-year event, we have an opportunity with Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3-7, to share our gratitude. This year, more than ever, we owe them our thanks for their unwavering dedication and commitment to their students and families. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Today, principals are so much more than a face behind the desk. They are educators, mentors, collaborators, and leaders. They are the motivating force for students, teachers, and support staff. Setting the tone for their entire building, it’s their guidance and leadership that helps everyone succeed. On May 1, 2021, join us in saying thank you to these individuals who go above and beyond as part of National School Principals’ Day. We celebrate, appreciate, and value Mr. Patete, Mr. Fife, and Mr. Dennis for their dedication to student growth and learning and their support and instruction for staff.

Ms. Wolfe's Kindergarten class walked over to the middle school yesterday to deliver over 2,600 plastic bottle caps and lids, donating them toward the recycling project that transforms them into benches that will last a lifetime. The true value comes from the profound experience that children can make a difference! They can see, sit on, and donate to their community the very results of their work, which is the most-perfect-real-life example of sustainability. Great job, Mustangs!
