All three classroom wings met their Right to Read Week reading goals last week! As a reward for their hard work, they enjoyed a visit from Inspiration Station, the new hands-on museum coming soon to Circleville. Student volunteers were challenged to build a foam dinosaur skeleton without instructions and test their handwashing skills under the black light! Thank you, Pickaway County Community Foundation (PCCF), for visiting with our students today and gifting them with a foam puzzle of their own!

Let's celebrate Right to Read Week with a Read-A-Thon starting Friday, March 15! Read-a-thons are a fun way to get your child excited about reading! It’s like a walk-a-thon, but we record minutes read instead of miles. It’s a great way to encourage our students in their love of reading. Activate your reader's account at https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/323739343331/1, where families can record and track progress. Together, we can foster strong reading habits and a love for learning that will last a lifetime!

Our Mustang Buddies had a wonderful time creating a heart mural and playing BINGO with their fellow buddies! Mustang Buddies is our after-school program that meets monthly at Westfall Elementary School and aims to create a positive and welcoming environment for preschool through 2nd-grade students. The program pairs them with mentors from grades 3-5, providing a unique opportunity to interact, learn, and grow together. The program aims to build self-confidence, improve social skills, and create a sense of belonging within the school community by developing positive relationships between our students. Mustang Buddies is a fantastic way to inspire young minds and help them grow into future leaders! We look forward to this program's growth and positive impact on our students.
