On Thursday, we had an exciting PBIS Assembly centered around the theme of perseverance. Students worked together as they tackled fun challenges, like throwing beanbags into a bucket while blindfolded or tossing them behind their backs.
Congratulations to our spirit stick winners this quarter: Mrs. Moses's 5th-grade class, Mrs. Stonerock's 2nd-grade class, and Miss Lightle's Kindergarten class. To top it off, our choir sang a mashup of "Roar" and "Brave" to tie in with the theme of perseverance.
The assembly was a great reminder to keep pushing forward, no matter the challenge! Here's to the next nine weeks!

At a recent Mustang Buddies meeting, students had fun tie-dying t-shirts together. Last week, they got to see their creations come to life! They also teamed up to design a colorful fish mural for the hallway and enjoyed a Jeopardy-style "get to know you" game.
Mustang Buddies helps build friendships and strengthen our school community. This after-school mentor program pairs younger students with older students, creating meaningful connections across all grade levels.

Miss Haberthier and Miss Holbert's preschoolers recently celebrated their 100th day of school in style! Students dressed for the occasion—arriving as wise, gray-haired, glasses-wearing, cane-carrying 100-year-olds—and spent the day working on fun, 100-themed crafts and lessons. What a fun way to celebrate a big milestone!
