All three classroom wings met their Right to Read Week reading goals last week! As a reward for their hard work, they enjoyed a visit from Inspiration Station, the new hands-on museum coming soon to Circleville. Student volunteers were challenged to build a foam dinosaur skeleton without instructions and test their handwashing skills under the black light! Thank you, Pickaway County Community Foundation (PCCF), for visiting with our students today and gifting them with a foam puzzle of their own!

To kick off the last quarter of the school year, Westfall Elementary held an assembly to review behavior expectations in the lunchroom, restroom, and hallway as we continue our focus on demonstrating "Mustang PRIDE." PRIDE stands for Prepared, Respectful Individuals, Determined to Excel.
The Westfall High School Band and Color Guard greeted students with a performance. At the end of the review, five students selected for consistently demonstrating positive behavior were invited to “feed the principals” some lunch. Unable to use their hands, Mrs. Patterson and Ms. Wolfe were spoon-fed spaghetti, cereal, and cake for dessert - not to forget juice to wash it all down!
We look forward to continuing to show off our PRIDE as Westfall Mustangs!
Enrollment in the Westfall Preschool is full for the 2024-2025 school year. Thank you for your interest in our program. We're looking forward to welcoming our new Mustangs in the fall!

The Pickaway County Board of Developmental Disabilities visited our first-graders today, offering several activity stations based on Justice Sonia Sotomayor's inspiring story' Just Ask: Be Different, Be Brave, Be You. ' This story, which celebrates differences and promotes inclusivity, served as a wonderful platform for our students to work together and learn about each other.
Like the book, the activity stations provided opportunities for students to learn a new language (sign language!), challenge their senses, and rely on their classmates to solve puzzles, fostering a sense of unity and mutual respect.
