WES Student Council has been working on a very special project! Thanks to a generous donation of fabric and the sewing expertise of our own Tammy Cline, Student Council members have assembled 50 bead bags to send to children’s hospitals around the nation! Through the company, Beads of Courage, the beautiful bags are given to contain the beads that have been received throughout a cancer patient’s treatment. Each bead signifies a moment of strength and courage. Student Council members helped to sew, iron, and assemble all of these bags.
