Tomorrow is Career Day at Westfall Elementary! As we gear up for an exciting day, we would like to share some important information with families. The morning car rider drop-off will be out front by the kindergarten/1st-grade wing. See map for details. Afternoon car rider pick-up will not be affected.
Please note: Some of our presenters on Career Day are First Responders and Emergency Medical Personnel, and these vehicles will be present on campus during student drop-off. Please do not be alarmed if you see an emergency medical vehicle on campus tomorrow.
We're looking forward to a fun day of exploring future career possibilities!

Mrs. Eitels' fourth-grade class invited Superintendent Mr. Sheets to be a guest reader of a book he wrote himself. Inspired by the stories he tells his granddaughter, he wrote, "A Frog is a Frog." He gave copies to each of her students, allowing them the opportunity to be illustrators!
"A Frog is a Frog" tells the story of a frog who desperately wants to be a bird. With encouragement from his fellow frog friend, he realizes that he is special just as he is.
FIELD DAY is coming up on Tuesday, May 21! Remember to send your students to school dressed in layers, with a water bottle, hat/sunglasses, and sunscreen!

At the beginning of the fourth nine weeks, the PBIS team challenged students to finish the school year strong by showing kindness toward others, going above and beyond each day, producing quality work, cooperating and persevering, and doing things without being asked. To celebrate the results of that incentive, students were treated to a cookout with hotdogs, potato chips, and popsicles!
Our 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 20, at 9:30 AM to ensure all 5th-graders are recognized for their hard work. For those unable to attend in person, a live stream will be available on our Westfall Local Schools YouTube page. A breakfast reception hosted by Westfall CIA will be held immediately following the ceremony. We hope to see you there!
Many items have been placed on our lost and found table. Please remind your child to stop by and see if any of their personal items have been found and are waiting to be claimed. Any items left on the table after Thursday, May 16, will be donated.
