Mustang Buddies is back! If your student is interested in our after-school PK-5 mentor program, Mustang Buddies, an interest form will be sent home with students this week. Due to the overwhelming interest last school year, we will be offering two sessions this school year: the fall session will run from September to December, and the spring session will run from January to April.

Thank you to Anne's Smiles for their wonderful donation and rapid delivery of supplies for the school year! Westfall Elementary recently contacted Anne's Smiles with a request to help over twenty students in need, and they delivered everything in only a few short days! They donated school supplies, backpacks, shoes, socks, and hygiene bags for each student. Anne's Smiles is an organization that provides shoes, clothes, comfort, and joy to those in need. Westfall Elementary Mustangs Student-Run Credit Union Members reached their annual goal of 100 deposits this school year! As a special treat for meeting the goal, three randomly selected members were chosen on Wednesday, May 22, to enter the "Cash Reactor!"
If you remember the game show Concentration, you'll know precisely how the Cash Reactor works. The three members each had a 30-second round to enter the Reactor and catch as much cash as possible! Whatever "cash" (Atomic uses Monopoly money in the machine for safety reasons) the member caught will be generously donated into their account. Congratulations to fifth-graders Charley Reiser and Barrett Salyers and second-grader Dax Davey. Their winnings spanned from $34 - $53!
